Access required: Claude allocation must be enabled for your PAIR organisation. Contact help@pairnow.ai if you would like access and we will enable it for your organisation.
Claude account type required: Claude allocation is available only for Claude Enterprise organisations. As of writing, the necessary APIs are not supported on Claude Teams, Pro or Max plans.
PAIR connects Claude allowances to progress through your organisation’s PAIR learning programme. Your organisation sets the monthly amount for each level. PAIR keeps matched Claude users aligned as they progress.
PAIR calls these amounts allowances. Anthropic enforces them as per-user monthly spend limits in your organisation’s billing currency. PAIR also shows the token usage behind that spend.
What organisation admins can see
The allocation and usage views show organisation spend and token usage for the current month. For each matched Claude member, they show:
- name and work email
- PAIR Agentic AI level
- current spend and token usage
- current PAIR-managed allowance
- allowance setup, including an organisation default or individual override
The dashboard also shows when the underlying Claude data was last refreshed.
What Claude users can see
Users included in your organisation’s Claude allocation can open My Profile > My Usage in PAIR. The page shows:
- current monthly allowance, spend to date and remaining balance
- current PAIR Agentic AI level and the next allowance available through progression
- total, input and output tokens
- AI requests and web-search requests
- allowance reset date and when the data was last updated
PAIR also tells users when they are approaching or have reached their monthly allowance. Each user can see only their own data.
How allocation works
- An organisation admin sets a monthly allowance for each PAIR Agentic AI level: Not Started, Fundamentals, Proficiency and Mastery.
- PAIR primarily matches Claude members to PAIR learners using their work email address.
- When a learner achieves the next level of PAIR certification, PAIR automatically applies the allowance for that level.
- Anthropic records the amount as a per-user monthly spend limit.
Changing the organisation’s allowance table starts a fresh sync for matched Claude members.
How Claude applies the limit
PAIR writes a per-user override for the monthly period. This becomes the member’s effective limit and replaces any existing per-user limit for the same period.
Group, seat-tier and organisation defaults remain managed in Claude Enterprise. The monthly period resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month.
When a member reaches their spend limit, Anthropic pauses their usage credits across Claude, Cowork and Claude Code. Access resumes when the limit is raised or the next monthly period begins.
Data used by the connection
PAIR receives:
- the member’s name, work email and Claude user identifier
- the Claude organisation identifier
- token usage, request counts and spend
- current effective spend limit and period-to-date spend
- Anthropic refresh timestamps
- the learner’s PAIR Agentic AI level
The connection cannot access conversations, prompts, uploaded files or Claude outputs.
Data freshness
Anthropic states that cost and token-usage data is typically available within four hours and can take up to 24 hours. Recent values can be revised for up to 30 days as Anthropic processes late events and reconciliation.
